Job summary

Seeds Wilderness Therapy is seeking a Gear and Operations Specialist to organize all gear, food, and operational tasks in the field. You will work under the Logistics Manager and support the Field Director while ensuring gear and supplies are stocked, maintained, and transported safely to remote backcountry locations.

The role requires outdoor industry experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a team-based, backcountry setting.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of working in an outdoor industry.
• Extensive knowledge of hard skills (e.g. ropes, cookware, backpacks).
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team.
• Valid, clean driving record.
• 21 or older and able to pass Colorado background check.
• Fluent English – both oral and written.
• Ability to lift at least 50 lbs and to move objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintains organized gear, clothing, and food systems.
• Lead weekly field resupply for restocking gear and food.
• Assist Logistics Manager with shopping and pickup of food or supplies.
• Support Field Director with permits and liaise with BLM/Forest Service reps.
• Participate in staff training and daily operations.
• Transport clients and staff following safety policies.
• Perform vehicle maintenance and safety inspections.
• Collaborate as a team member and assist with errands.
