Aerotek's London, OH location is seeking a Forklift Operator for outdoor production and yard support on 1st shift, offering up to $25/hr. The role involves moving finished materials from production lines to yard inventory and cross-training in production to cover absences.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of outdoor work experience
• Comfort working outdoors in all weather conditions
• Experience with loading and unloading materials
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and general labor tasks
• Reliability and flexibility to cross-train and cover different roles

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to transport finished materials from production lines to designated inventory areas in the yard
• Work outdoors approximately 90% of the time, safely maneuvering equipment and materials in all weather conditions
• Load and unload materials efficiently, ensuring accurate placement and adherence to safety procedures
• Cross-train in the production area to learn key tasks and processes so you can fill in for associates who are absent
• Support general labor and construction-related tasks as needed, including heavy lifting and material handling
• Maintain a clean, organized work area in both outdoor yard and indoor production spaces
• Follow all safety guidelines and operational procedures to prevent accidents and damage to materials or equipment
• Communicate with production and yard teams to coordinate material flow and resolve issues promptly
