Job summary

CRH plc is hiring for a forklift operator to work in a rugged 50+ acre outdoor manufacturing environment. The role requires operating a front-end loader and/or forklift, and supporting production in a fast-paced setting.

The successful candidate will follow safety rules, read job specifications, and assist with machine setup to meet deadlines. A high school diploma or GED and the ability to pass internal certification are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules and maintenance instructions.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must pass internal certification program.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment, specifically a front-end loader and/or forklift, and production machinery as directed while adhering to safety rules.
• Load bins for production, ensuring correct mix and quantity to prevent delays.
• Keep work area clean and orderly.
• Read job specs to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.
• Assist machine operators to set up machines and meet deadlines.
