Job summary

Bloom Energy is seeking Field Service Technicians to join a world-class team. This role is based near Boise, ID and involves working outdoors on Bloom Energy Servers, with hands-on mechanical and fluid systems work.

You will diagnose, maintain and troubleshoot at customer sites, offering technical support, performing site upkeep, and ensuring safety protocols are followed. Travel to U.S. and international destinations may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma with relevant electrical/electro-mechanical experience.
• Journeyman or electrician certification desirable.
• Experience with electrical, process controls, or electro-mechanical fields.
• Military electrical experience highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain and troubleshoot Bloom Energy Servers at customer site(s).
• Provide technical support, server maintenance and site upkeep, following safety protocols.
• Read electrical diagrams/blueprints and troubleshoot diverse electrical/mechanical systems.
• Follow customer access requirements and company procedures; collaborate with the team.
• Maintain service vehicle and spare parts inventory; produce detailed service reports.
