Forged Fiber is seeking a hands-on fiber technician to perform in-home installation, testing, and maintenance for homes and small businesses in the Minneapolis area. You will interact with customers on-site and by phone, explain installation options, and ensure proper network functionality.

New hires should be willing to work outdoors, with 0–2 years of relevant experience; high school diploma required and training provided. This full-time role supports a safety-conscious, customer-focused team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 0–2 years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work outdoors and some customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-home installation and service work for consumer and small business customers (ONT, gateways, Ethernet, fiber inside wiring).
• Test, turn up and maintain outside/inside plant and equipment.
• Interact with customers professionally on-site or by phone and explain features and usage.
