Job summary

Astound Broadband is seeking a Broadband Network Technician I for a hands-on, field-based role in Texas. You will maintain and repair aerial and underground coax and fiber, restore service, and support network reliability while working outdoors daily with bucket trucks and ladders.

The position requires 2+ years in telecom field work, a high school diploma or equivalent, a valid driver’s license, and readiness for a 24/7 on-call rotation. Competitive benefits apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of hands-on telecom field experience (coax, fiber, or electrical).
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Detect, troubleshoot and resolve system outages for data, video, and telephone.
• Perform preventive maintenance and emergency restoration of coax and fiber infrastructure.
• Maintain documentation and work orders; participate in 24/7 on-call rotation.
• Install, replace, and repair coaxial and fiber cabling (aerial and underground).
• Operate bucket trucks, ladders, and field equipment.
