Astound is hiring a Broadband Network Technician I for field-based work outdoors in Washington. You will maintain and repair aerial and underground coax and fiber, use bucket trucks and ladders, restore service, and perform preventative maintenance to support network reliability.

You will diagnose outages, document work orders, participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation, and follow safety procedures. A high school diploma and 2+ years telecom field experience are required, along with the ability to

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in telecom field work, cabling, construction, or utilities.
• Ability to read and interpret maps; strong problem solving and time management.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair aerial and underground coax and fiber infrastructure.
• Detect, troubleshoot and resolve system outages in field environments.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document work orders daily.
• Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation.
