Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a Farm Equipment & Irrigation Operator in Silver Lake, OR, to support alfalfa and hay farming operations. You will work outdoors with irrigation systems, operate farm machinery, and contribute to crop production year-round.

You'll troubleshoot irrigation equipment, assist with water management projects, maintain property and structures, and collaborate with the farm team on seasonal tasks. A valid driver's license is required and housing and utilities are provided.

Qualifications

• General farming or ranching experience preferred.
• Experience with equipment maintenance and repair.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to farm operations.

Responsibilities

• Operate flood and pivot irrigation systems and monitor water delivery.
• Troubleshoot and repair pivot irrigation equipment to maintain efficiency.
• Assist with digging corrugates, transporting equipment, and water management projects.
