Job summary

The Simplot Company is seeking a Field Technician to support Field operations across agronomic services, soil and plant sampling, and customer-focused field activities. You will collaborate with Crop Advisors, Operations staff, and growers to ensure accurate execution of programs and high‑quality service.

Requires high school diploma or GED, willingness to operate 4WD/ATV off-road, and basic computer skills. Knowledge of agriculture preferred; farming background valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Knowledge of agriculture or horticulture preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to work with others to achieve objectives.
• Experience with field sampling and basic data entry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Participate in sales calls to new and existing customers.
• Assist with blending, delivery, equipment setup and maintenance as needed.
• Perform soil and plant sampling, product testing, and field scouting.
• Support crop advisors with data entry and reporting.
