Job summary

Billingsley Company in Dallas–Fort Worth is seeking a Rental Sales Manager to drive external event-rental business across outdoor lawns and venues. This field-based role focuses on prospecting, outside sales calls, proposals and closing profitable rentals.

You will build and own a self-generated pipeline, handle inbound inquiries with assigned owners, and coordinate with operations to ensure successful events. Travel across North Texas is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of proven outside sales or business development experience.
• Ability to build business through prospecting rather than inbound leads.
• Strong presentation, negotiation, relationship-management and closing skills.
• Excellent organization and CRM, proposal tools and Microsoft Office proficiency.
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly across North Texas.

Responsibilities

• Generate new rental leads through outside sales calls, cold outreach, referrals, and networking.
• Prospect corporate meeting planners, HR and event leaders, and agencies.
• Build a territory-wide pipeline and manage self-originated opportunities.
• Conduct discovery meetings, site tours, proposals and close rentals.
• Develop repeat business and cross-sell venues across the portfolio.
• Prepare proposals, quotes, contracts using approved pricing and procedures.
• Coordinate with operations for feasibility, staffing and handoffs.
• Maintain CRM records and report on activity and revenue.
• Support indoor rentals as backup when needed.
