Job summary

Billingsley Company is a Dallas-based real estate developer and operator seeking a Rental Sales Manager to generate new outdoor event rental business across its properties. This field-based role emphasizes prospecting, outside sales calls, site tours, proposals and closing profitable rentals, building a self-generated pipeline.

The role requires 2+ years of outside sales, strong presentation and negotiation skills, and willingness to travel across North Texas; a Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of outside sales or business development experience.
• Ability to build business through proactive prospecting rather than inbound leads.
• Strong presentation, negotiation and relationship-management skills with executive presence.
• Excellent organization and follow-through; proficient with CRM, proposal tools and Microsoft Office.
• Willingness to travel regularly among North Texas properties and client offices.

Responsibilities

• Generate new rental leads through outside sales calls, cold outreach, referrals, and networking.
• Prospect corporate meeting planners, HR and employee-experience leaders, agencies and partners.
• Build and maintain a territory-wide target-account list and self-generated pipeline.
• Conduct discovery meetings, site tours, proposals and follow-up to close bookings.
• Develop repeat business and cross-sell venues across the portfolio.
• Prepare proposals, quotes, and rental contracts using approved pricing and terms.
• Coordinate with property operations and events teams for seamless execution.
• Manage indoor bookings as backup when needed.
