McGill Environmental Systems is hiring an Intake Technician to support the safe, efficient receipt of incoming materials at our facility. This hands-on role involves outdoor work and close collaboration with QA, environmental compliance, and operations.

You will inspect loads, collect samples, maintain accurate logs, and assist with daily site operations to ensure materials meet standards and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in industrial operations, composting, agriculture, manufacturing, environmental services, waste management, or related industries preferred.
• Experience with inspections, sampling, quality control, or recordkeeping preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to accurately collect, record, and maintain operational data.
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office and data entry applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.

Responsibilities

• Material Intake & Inspection: Receive and inspect incoming loads; collect material samples; verify load information; maintain logs and documentation.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance: Conduct sampling and testing; assist with QA monitoring and data collection; support regulatory reporting.
• Operations Support: Monitor water usage and site metrics; maintain clean, safe work areas; assist with material movement and daily activities.
• Safety: Follow safety policies; stay aware of equipment and traffic; report safety concerns and participate in safety initiatives.
