Job summary

Nature's Classroom Atop Lookout Mountain seeks energetic educators to lead field trips and teach hands-on classes in a natural setting. You will guide students through hikes, science activities, and team-building experiences tied to conservation themes.

Responsibilities include leading instructional hikes, coordinating evening activities, and occasionally supervising specialty activities such as archery and canoeing. A strong emphasis is placed on safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must be 21 years or older.
• Bachelor’s Degree field not specified; degree required.

Responsibilities

• Lead educational hikes.
• Teach hands-on classes from existing curriculum.
• Facilitate team building activities including low ropes.
• Guide large group and evening activities.
• Occasionally assist with specialty activities (archery, canoeing, climbing tower, high ropes course).
