Job summary

A-Line EDS is hiring for a physically demanding, on-site role at our Waterloo, IA facility. The position involves dismantling and recycling electrical equipment year-round, using oxy-fuel torches and industrial tools to dismantle transformers, and sorting metals.

You will operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment, move heavy materials safely, and follow strict safety procedures in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Strong safety mindset and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Dismantle and recycle electrical equipment indoors and outdoors year-round.
• Use oxy-fuel torches and industrial tools to dismantle transformers.
• Sort and separate ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
• Operate forklifts, telehandlers, and other material-handling equipment.
• Move heavy materials safely throughout the facility.
• Follow all safety procedures in a fast-paced industrial environment.
