Job summary

A-Line is hiring Traveling Laborers to work on specialized transformer and electrical equipment decommissioning projects across the United States. Team travel to customer sites to dismantle and prepare large electrical equipment for recycling and transport; hands-on work, traveling, and operating heavy equipment are required.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to report to Waterloo, IA for departures.
• Must have a valid driver's license and Class A CDL (training provided).
• Strong work ethic and ability to work in a team-based environment.
• Must be able to pass background checks and post-offer drug test.
• Comfortable working at heights up to 60 feet.

Responsibilities

• Travel to job sites across the United States with a team.
• Dismantle transformers and other electrical equipment.
• Use torch cutters and power tools to open equipment.
• Operate telehandlers, boom lifts, and other heavy equipment.
• Rig, load, and secure equipment onto flatbed trailers.
• Drive semi-truck and trailer to and from project sites.
• Follow strict safety and environmental procedures.
