Job summary

A-Lin in Waterloo, IA is hiring for an indoor/outdoor dismantling and recycling role. The position offers hourly pay from $23.00 to $25.00 starting, with a Monday–Friday schedule, overtime and occasional Saturdays. The facility operates 6:45 a.m.

to 3:45 p.m., with 40 hours of PTO after 90 days and benefits starting as low as $15/week. You will dismantle electrical equipment, use oxy-fuel torches, sort metals, and operate forklifts and material-handling equipment while obeying safety procedures

Qualifications

• 2+ years of outdoor construction, demolition, or similar physically demanding work.
• 1+ year of oxy-fuel torch cutting experience.
• 2+ years operating heavy equipment such as telehandlers, cranes, or excavators.
• 5+ years of forklift operating experience.

Responsibilities

• Dismantling and recycling electrical equipment indoors and outdoors.
• Use oxy-fuel torches and industrial tools to dismantle transformers.
• Sort and separate ferrous and non-ferrous metals.
• Operate forklifts, telehandlers, and other material-handling equipment.
• Move heavy materials safely throughout the facility.
• Follow all safety procedures in a fast-paced industrial environment.
