REI Co-op in Sumner, Washington is seeking a customer-first team member to handle inbound contacts via phone, email, and chat, delivering an inclusive and exemplary experience for REI members and customers.

You will multi-task across screens, maintain product knowledge and policies, and support accurate discount use while building lasting relationships. Weekend shifts and reliable attendance are essential to help us serve customers during peak periods.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of retail or customer service experience.
• Proficiency with chat and email software.
• Ability to multi-task across multiple screens.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Flexible weekend availability and scheduling.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Typing speed 30+ wpm on a QWERTY keyboard.

Responsabilités

• Handle inbound customer contacts via phone, email, and chat.
• Create a customer experience that is inclusive, supportive, and exemplary to ensure retention and loyalty.
• Be the eyes and ears of our customers, reporting issues for continuous improvement.
• Ensure appropriate use of discounts balancing customer and business needs.
• Build customer confidence and establish relationships to ensure retention.
• Maintain product knowledge and policy information.
