REI Co-op is hiring a Store Sales Specialist to help create outstanding outdoor experiences by sharing knowledge, recommending products, and engaging with customers daily. You will facilitate transactions, promote memberships, and keep merchandise organized on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• Store-based sales experience and customer service skill
• Ability to communicate and build relationships
• Open to feedback and diverse viewpoints
• Good business sense and judgment for problem solving
• Organizes and prioritizes to meet deadlines

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions about products and memberships
• Maintain visual standards with store management and sales leads
• Engage in REI Sales & Service Training
• Support store pick-up, including receiving and processing products
• Follow REI loss prevention and safety procedures
• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs
• Additional duties as assigned
