Crossland Construction Company is hiring a construction laborer to perform a variety of field tasks on outdoor sites. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work with a team in varying weather conditions, heights, and travel as needed.

You will assist with measurements, material handling, and equipment operations under supervision, while maintaining safety and quality on each project. Drug screen and background check are required for successful candidates.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work outdoors, at heights, and travel as needed.
• Drug screen, physical and criminal background check required for successful candidates.

Responsibilities

• Measures distances from grade stakes, drives stakes and stretches tight lines.
• Bolts, nails, aligns and blocks up under forms.
• Signals operators of construction equipment to align, move and adjust machinery to grade specs.
• Levels earth to fine grade specs using pick and shovel.
• Mixes concrete using float, trowel and screed.
• Positions, joins and aligns and seals pipe sections.
• Erects scaffolding, shoring and braces.
• Demonstrates dexterity with hand and power tools on various tasks.
