Candidates must be able to work outdoors, pass a drug screen and background check, and comply with safety rules on site. Prior construction exposure is helpful, and reliability is essential for steady, long-term employment.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be able to perform physically demanding outdoor work.
• Drug screen, physical and criminal background check required.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally; 40-50 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

• Measure distances from grade stakes and set lines.
• Bolt, nail and align and block up under forms.
• Signal operators of construction equipment for alignment and grade.
• Level earth to grade specifications with hand tools and equipment.
• Mix concrete using float, trowel and screed.
• Position and seal pipe sections.
• Erect scaffolding, shoring and braces.
• Spray materials to clean, coat or seal crevices.
• Grind, sand or polish surfaces including concrete and wood.
• Demolish structures and dismantle forms as needed.
• Work with other crew members on site.
