S&Me, Inc. seeks an entry-level Construction Materials Engineering Technician to work outdoors at project sites in Indianapolis, IN. You’ll learn concrete sampling, testing, soils, asphalt, and masonry while supporting quality and safety on active jobs.

Qualifications

• This role requires curiosity, a strong work ethic, and willingness to learn while growing your skills.
• Candidates should have basic math skills and solid English communication abilities.
• Travel or a fluctuating weekly schedule is possible based on project needs.

Responsibilities

• Start with concrete sampling and testing, then expand to soils, asphalt, and masonry.
• Paid, on-the-job training and support for certifications (ACI/ICC).
• Outdoor work year-round on active construction sites.
• Perform field and lab tests, maintain equipment, and report results accurately.
• Conduct inspections per IBC codes and manage data using Metafield.
