Job summary

Shirley Contracting Company, LLC is seeking Skilled Laborers to join our team. The role involves outdoor work on various sites, operating around heavy equipment and following safety procedures.

Start times vary between 6:00 AM and 7:00 AM. Overtime, nights and weekends may be required. Base pay ranges from $17.00 to $25.00 per hour with comprehensive benefits including health, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(k) with company match and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Outdoor work in all seasons.
• Able to work around heavy equipment and communicate with operators and pedestrians.
• Comfortable at heights and in confined spaces with PPE.
• Moderate to heavy lifting and daily physical tasks.
• Must pass pre-employment physical/drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Perform flagging and traffic control tasks.
• Site preparation, trench digging, braces and debris removal.
• Install erosion controls (silt fence, etc.).
• Willing to perform manual labor to support projects.
• Wear PPE; safety gear provided.
• Handle a variety of tasks each day.
• Uphold health and safety policies.
• Maintain positive relationships with customers and coworkers.
