Shirley Contracting Company is seeking Skilled Laborers for multiple Virginia job sites. The role involves outdoor work across seasons, operating near heavy equipment, and performing manual labor with strict safety standards. Overtime, nights, and weekends may be required.

Base pay ranges from $17.00 to $25.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits. Employees wear PPE and join a culture committed to safety and teamwork, serving various sites in Fairfax and surrounding counties.

Qualifications

• Work in outdoor environments in all seasons.
• Must pass pre-employment physical/drug screening.
• Able to lift more than 15 pounds and use hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform flagging, traffic closures and relevant tasks as assigned.
• Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support excavations, clean up rubble and debris.
• Install erosion and sediment controls (e.g. silt fence, gutter buddies).
• Willing to perform manual labor to support projects.
• Wear PPE (hard hat, safety glasses, gloves) and work on varied tasks.
• Ensure health and safety policies are met and maintain positive relationships with customers and co-workers.
