Qualifications

Actively pursuing a degree in civil engineering or related field.

Able to communicate professionally with project teams, contractors, clients and the public.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Experience with construction, surveying, or CAD software is beneficial but not required.

Responsibilities

Assist with field inspections of sewer, water, and paving construction projects.
Use measuring equipment to verify materials, line, and grade accuracy.
Maintain accurate records and update project documentation.
Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and municipal staff to maintain project schedules.
Respond to public inquiries and assist with construction-related questions or concerns.
Work outdoors on real-world infrastructure projects that strengthen communities.
Communicate effectively with diverse project teams.
Apply academic knowledge to practical engineering challenges.
Assist with field and office tasks as needed.
