Job summary

Bartlett Tree Experts in Lebanon, NJ is seeking an Arborist Ground Person for an entry-level outdoor role. You will learn arboriculture through hands-on, on-the-job training while supporting the crew on residential and commercial properties.

You'll perform basic pruning, rigging, equipment operation, and safety procedures as part of a safety‑driven team with opportunities for advancement and ongoing training.

Qualifications

• A passion for nature and the outdoors, and interest in year‑round outdoor work.
• A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team.
• Prior tree care, landscaping, forestry, or horticulture experience is preferred but not required.
• Valid driver's license; degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Pruning trees and rigging; cabling and bracing when needed.
• Removal of hazardous trees and proper equipment operation.
• Maintaining tools, equipment, and safe work zones.
• Assist Arborist Climbers and Crew Leaders on ground and aloft; support driving and parking duties.
