Warrior Met Coal is seeking an Outby Foreman to lead a team at our Brookwood-area operations in Alabama. The role requires overseeing underground mine activities, enforcing safety and environmental standards, and coordinating with production and maintenance teams to keep the mine operating smoothly.

The candidate must hold a valid Alabama Mine Foreman Certificate and demonstrate strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities in a high-demand, safety-critical environment.

Qualifications

• Valid Alabama Mine Foreman Certificate.
• Proficient in the use and maintenance of continuous mining equipment and systems.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• High attention to safety, detail, and quality.
• Ability to work under pressure, in challenging and dynamic environments.

Responsibilities

• Follow all state and federal safety rules and company safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with safety, environmental, and production goals.
• Conduct examinations as required by policy and regulation.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and repairs and communicate results.
• Coordinate and conduct crew safety meetings and trainings.
• Inspect mine areas and equipment to identify hazards or defects and take corrective actions.
• Monitor ventilation, water, and drainage systems to maintain a safe environment.
