Job summary

Graybar Electric Company in Phoenix, AZ, seeks an experienced Service Center Outbound Manager to lead zone/service center operations, including staff management, process control, security, and all customer service functions.

The role features a Monday–Friday schedule (9:00am–6:00pm or varies with business needs) with base salary of $67,910–$94,761 and bonus eligibility based on metrics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience: Extensive supervisory, logistics, and material handling experience required
• Four-year degree preferred
• Strong leadership skills and ability to effectively supervise staff and achieve results through others
• Strong oral and written communication skills
• Ability to perform physical requirements including lifting up to 70 pounds and operating warehouse equipment

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of workforce management including hiring, training, evaluating, mentoring, rewarding, disciplining, and succession planning
• Train team on business systems and use of features to improve accuracy and efficiency
• Oversee loading/unloading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, and transporting of merchandise; optimize workstation efficiency
• Oversee shipment activity and ensure timely customer service to meet service goals
• Maintain security of merchandise and equipment and conduct inventory counts
• Determine routing of orders and inspect loading operations for compliance with shipping specs
• Prepare reports on security, safety, inventory, trucking, and equipment maintenance
• Support special projects and emergency deliveries and participate in the Zone/Service Center Steering Committee
