Job summary

Graybar Electric Company, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Leader to guide branch warehouse operations, including logistics, inventory control, safety, and equipment usage, to meet service standards.

The role requires lifting up to 70 pounds and operating forklifts and pallet jacks, with knowledge of SAP and safe work practices. The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule (5:00am–2:00pm) and pay starting at $25.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Able to lift up to 70 pounds and perform physical requirements.
• Operates warehouse equipment including pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts.
• Knowledge of warehouse layouts and procedures.
• Experience with SAP is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead activities of employees engaged in loading/unloading, selecting, packing, shipping, receiving and transportation of merchandise.
• Supervise incoming and outgoing shipment activity; ensure efficient, accurate and timely customer service to meet goals.
• Perform physical requirements to move inventory around the warehouse.
• Operate and maneuver warehouse equipment per manufacturer instructions and safety guidelines.
• Maintain warehouse in a clean, safe state and conduct daily safety inspections.
• Ensure security of merchandise and equipment; oversee loss prevention and cycle counts.
• Determine truck routing and load limits; inspect operations for compliance with shipping specs.
• Prepare bills of lading and post shipping charges for unfilled orders.
• Ensure DOT regulations and hazardous material shipping are followed; participate in Warehouse Steering Committee.
