Job summary

ALDI USA is hiring for 1st shift outbound (shipping) warehouse roles in Batavia, IL. Starting wage ranges from $21.50 to $27.50 per hour, with scheduled pay progressions by year and rotation. Full-time positions with 30–35 hours/week averages and comprehensive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and within a team.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic operations.
• Lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds.
• Familiar with operating powered industrial equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Receives (Inbound) or selects (outbound) stock efficiently to fulfill orders.
• Relocates merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
• Sorts, organizes, and loads merchandise for shipment and unloads incoming shipment from trucks/back-hauls.
• Performs general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
• Participates in inventory counts according to guidelines.
• Cooperates with peers, suppliers and warehouse leadership through effective communication.
• Provides input to warehouse management to improve processes.
• Inspects product for quality, safety concerns and sanitation issues.
• Assists management in achieving budgeted goals.
• Follows safety and ergonomic procedures and operates equipment as required.
