Job summary

Arvato is seeking an Outbound Supervisor in Louisville to ensure timely order completion, manage labor resources, and prioritize orders with precision. You will coordinate pick/pack/ship operations and oversee the shipping process to meet customer expectations.

The role requires 3 years of supervisory experience and familiarity with a WMS environment. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and Kronos/Excel proficiency is expected for reporting and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage the labor and equipment of the Pick/Pack/Ship operation.
• Ensure on-time completion and maintain the quality of orders to meet customer requirements.
• Oversee direct shipping, pick, pack, and traffic.
• Supervise and coordinate the activities of employees.
• Receiving of materials.
• Transferring of materials.
• Hire and ensure proper training of new employees for picking, packing, and shipping departments.
• Ensure proper procedures are adhered to and up to date for the control tower for current and new customers.
• Performance management of all employees (KPIs).
• Document, update, and ensure procedures and quality processes are followed.
• Maintain supplies and equipment levels for the department.
• Monitor and adhere to customer requests and vendor-specific shipping requirements.
• Update and maintain Kronos and Metrics in Excel, as it relates to WMS reporting.
• Monitor picking, packing, and shipping functions on the floor.
• Ensure that shift-end specific procedures with all shipping systems are completed, and floor end-of-shift close-outs are followed.

Job Description

As the Outbound Supervisor at Arvato, your primary objective will be to ensure the timely completion of orders, aligning with our commitment to exceeding customer expectations. Collaborating closely with Wave Panning, you'll manage labor resources effectively while prioritizing orders with precision.

A Shift: 6am-6:30pm, Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - Alternating Saturdays

YOUR TASKS
