Job summary

Arvato is seeking an Inbound Supervisor to lead the inbound function across our Louisville, KY operations. You will ensure timely processing of inbound shipments, manage labor and equipment, and coordinate with the Control Tower to prioritize inbound work while upholding accuracy and safety standards.

The role requires 3+ years of supervisory experience and 3+ years in SAP or WMS environments with inventory research.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience.
• At least 3 years of experience in an SAP and/or WMS environment with inventory research and problem-solving.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage labor resources and equipment within the inbound operation.
• Ensure on-time completion of inbound activities while maintaining accuracy and quality to meet customer requirements.
• Partner with the Control Tower team to coordinate labor allocation and prioritize inbound shipments.
• Oversee direct ocean container inbounds, LTL shipments, and building-to-building transfers.
• Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of all inbound employees.
• Manage the receiving and transferring of materials.
• Hire, train, and develop new employees within the inbound department.
• Ensure all inbound procedures are accurate, up to date, and properly documented for the Control Tower and applicable customers.
• Lead performance management for employees using established KPI metrics.
• Maintain and update operational procedures and quality processes.
• Monitor and maintain adequate supplies and equipment for departmental needs.
• Adhere to customer-specific and vendor-specific receiving requirements.
• Update and maintain UKG and Excel-based metrics as they relate to WMS reporting.
• Monitor all receiving functions on the floor to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Verify completion of all end-of-shift receiving system tasks and ensure full floor close-out procedures are followed.
• Work schedule: A-shift - Sunday, Monday, Tuesday - 7:00 am - 7:30 pm, and every other Saturday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm - some overtime is required.
