Job summary

Arvato Bertelsmann in Las Vegas seeks an Outbound Team Lead to manage daily shipping operations in a fast-paced distribution center. You will supervise warehouse staff, assign work, and drive on-time shipping while upholding safety and quality standards.

You will coordinate with Inventory Control, Inbound, Transportation and Quality teams to maintain workflow and resolve issues. A high school diploma and 1–2 years in shipping are required, with strong MS Office skills preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1-2 years' experience in shipping.
• Demonstrated shipping experience in a fast-paced distribution center.
• Proficient in MS Office.
• Safety knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Leading and supervising a team of warehouse associates during the outbound process.
• Assigning work and monitoring productivity to ensure daily shipping goals are met.
• Overseeing order picking, packing, staging, and loading of outbound shipments.
• Ensuring orders are accurate, complete, and shipped according to customer and carrier requirements.
• Monitoring labor allocation and adjusting staffing based on workload and priorities.
• Coaching, training, and developing team members while providing performance feedback.
• Enforcing safety policies, SOPs, and quality standards.
• Investigating and resolving shipping errors, inventory discrepancies, and operational issues.
• Coordinating with Inventory Control, Inbound, Transportation, Quality, and Operations leadership to maintain workflow.
