Job summary

United Rentals, Inc. seeks an Outbound Sales Rep to support new and existing customers with outbound sales and personalized account management from the Charlotte, NC area. You’ll consult on equipment usage, job-site management, inventory cost-control, and a frictionless rental process.

Responsibilities include qualifying customer needs, processing quotes, reservations and contracts, and driving growth in the assigned book of business while coordinating with branch staff for customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• College Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1 year sales and/or construction equipment experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, Outlook.
• Proficient in RentalMan and in utilization of tools for Customer Care Center.
• Excellent time management, organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Qualify and quantify needs of existing customers using CRM (Salesforce) and persuasive selling techniques.
• Process rental quotations, reservations, and contracts in accordance with policies.
• Drive Active Customer Growth and YoY Rental Revenue for assigned Book of Business.
• Coordinate with branch staff to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve field issues.
• Learn and use United Rentals IT systems for quotes, rentals, and territory management.
• Negotiate prices on equipment rentals and sales per pricing policies.
