Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferred in Operations, Logistics, or related field.
• Minimum of three years of experience in warehouse or production environment; 1 year experience with a pharmacy or pharmaceutical wholesaler/distributor required.
• Minimum three years management experience.

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs all distribution activities including shipping, routing, and administrative tasks to ensure company requirements are met.
• Leads the effort to gather feedback regarding the customer expectations.
• Implements changes to continually improve the customer’s experience.
• Optimizes processes for picking, packing, and shipping to maintain compliance with regulations.
• Main point of contact for inquiries regarding outbound shipments.
• Collaborates with Sales, Regulatory and Quality Affairs on orders shipped.
• Communicates issues to relevant stakeholders to resolve promptly.
• Reviews trends to identify gaps in outbound processes and recommends improvements.
• Conducts daily status meetings with management to review performance and plan actions.
• Manages the outbound team including performance, attendance, training, and development.
