Covetrus at Colonial Heights, VA seeks an Operations Manager – Outbound to oversee distribution center shipping, routing, and related admin tasks, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment. You will lead the outbound team, coordinate with Sales and Regulatory groups, and drive improvements to customer satisfaction.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and 3+ years in warehouse or production with 3+ years of management experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Logistics, or related field.
• At least 3 years experience in warehouse or production.
• At least 3 years of management experience.
• Pharmacy or pharmaceutical wholesale/distributor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plans and directs all distribution activities including shipping, routing, and administrative tasks to meet company requirements.
• Leads feedback collection to improve customer experience and implements changes.
• Optimizes picking, packing, and shipping processes while maintaining DC compliance.
• Primary contact for outbound shipments; collaborates with Sales, Regulatory and QA to resolve issues.
• Reviews trends to identify gaps in outbound process and makes recommendations.
• Conducts daily status meetings to review performance and plan actions.
• Manages the outbound team including performance, attendance, training, engagement, retention and development.
