Job summary

Core-Mark, a leading marketer of consumer goods for convenience operators in North America, seeks a Logistics Planner in Westlake, TX. You will optimize outbound shipments with procurement and purchasing teams, maximizing truck capacity to cut costs while upholding fill rates.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Math skills and 10-key proficiency.
• 1 to 3 years of purchasing experience preferred.
• Familiarity with R6, AS400 and SAP systems.
• Associates degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow weekly outbound shipment schedule and process orders on timetable.
• Collaborate with outbound team to ensure timely order completion for billing.
• Meet with Operations to assess needs and adjust schedules weekly.
• Ensure inventory status before placing orders.
• Review quantities before accepting and approving orders.
• Coordinate with buyers on allocations and database changes.
• Maintain safe work environment and safety procedures.
