Job summary

Riverstone Logistics RLX is a big and bulky supply chain powerhouse delivering seamless final mile, middle mile, warehousing, fulfillment, and storage solutions through a nationally integrated platform. The Operations Supervisor, Outbound is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the outbound functions within a warehouse.

The supervisor will help lead daily operations related to motor carrier compliance, route planning and monitoring, and customer/client service.

Qualifications

• Minimum qualification is a high school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Strong supervisory skills in people and operations.
• Excellent verbal and written communications.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to embrace new technology.
• Operations or final mile delivery experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery operations, monitoring motor carrier needs and client service.
• Lead and participate in active route monitoring daily.
• Assist Outbound Manager and GM with morning stand up and daily carrier communications.
• Assist with processing of carrier settlements.
• Assist with recruiting and onboarding of motor carriers.
• Communicate delivery timeframes and delays to client customers.
• Assist with audits and returns processes alignment.
• Ensure timely reporting of loadouts/returns and carrier compliance.
• Serve as main contact for client escalations.
• Schedule orders and notify customers of time windows for next day delivery.
• Maintain professional relationships with location management, peers, carriers, clients, and other managers.
• Process and monitor claims through client portal.
• Identify and elevate process discrepancies, including carrier compliance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
