Role Description

The Outbound Logistics role is a full-time, on-site position based in the New York City Metropolitan Area. This role oversees the coordination and execution of outbound shipments to retailers and distribution partners, ensuring accurate order fulfillment, documentation, and on-time delivery. Day-to-day tasks include managing shipping schedules, preparing export and domestic shipping documents, working with carriers and freight forwarders, and monitoring inventory availability for outgoing orders. The position involves regular communication with internal teams such as sales, customer service, and supply chain to resolve issues and optimize logistics processes. The role also includes analyzing shipping data, tracking performance metrics, and recommending improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Strong Communication and Customer Service skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across the warehouse and CSR team.
• Solid Analytical Skills to interpret logistics data, monitor KPIs, and identify process improvements.
• Experience in Supply Chain Management, including order fulfillment, inventory coordination, and carrier management.
• Prior experience in logistics, distribution, or operations within consumer goods or fashion/footwear industries is beneficial.
• Proficiency with logistics and inventory software, spreadsheets, and standard office applications.
• Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Relevant education in supply chain, business, operations management, or a related field is preferred.
