Job summary

Arvato Bertelsmann is seeking an Outbound Shipping Clerk to join our logistics team in Kentucky. You will support outbound orders, prepare paperwork, and coordinate with carriers to ensure timely deliveries. The role involves data entry into the warehouse management system, floor support, and operating equipment as certified.

A careful communicator with warehousing and shipping experience is ideal. Expect collaboration across teams, adherence to safety protocols, and a steady B-shift schedule

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of SAP or other WMS experience.
• Excel - intermediate.
• Experience in Warehousing and Shipping operations.
• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook.
• B Shift: 6:00 am - 6:30 pm Wednesday-Friday/ Every other Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Prepare outbound orders and paperwork (BOLS, delivery manifests, yard management documents).
• Communicate with carriers and lead in the department; coordinate with service delivery and Trade teams.
• Data entry into a warehouse management system and filing documents.
• Occasionally work on the warehouse floor with equipment operators.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely when certified by Arvato.

Job Description

Arvato is currently seeking an Outbound Shipping Clerk who possesses a keen eye for detail, excels in communication, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. As part of our team, you’ll not only contribute to the efficiency of our operations but also have the opportunity to work with cutting‑edge warehouse equipment and collaborate with various teams across the organization.

YOUR TASKS

• In this role, you will help prepare outbound orders and the necessary paperwork associated with each, i.e. BOLS, delivery manifests, and yard management documents.

• You will communicate with different delivery carriers, work directly with the supervisor and lead in this department and will also communicate with our service delivery and Trade teams.

• This role will require data entry into a warehouse management system and filing documents and forms.

• You will occasionally have to be out on the warehouse floor and will work with our warehouse equipment operators.

• You may be required to operate warehouse equipment safely (only when certified by Arvato).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• At least 2 years of SAP or other WMS experience.

• Excel - intermediate experienced.

• Previous experience in operations of Warehousing and Shipping, and use of equipment such as forklifts, order pickers and pallet runners.

• Ability to read, write, understand and communicate in English.

• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook.

• B Shift: 6:00 am - 6:30 pm Wednesday-Friday/ Every other Saturday.
