Job summary

Arvato is seeking an Outbound Shipping Clerk in Louisville, KY to prepare outbound orders and related paperwork. You will coordinate with carriers, supervisors, and cross-functional teams while handling data entry in the warehouse management system.

The role requires a High School Diploma and at least 2 years of SAP or WMS experience, plus familiarity with forklifts and logistics coordination. Proficiency in English and in Microsoft Outlook is essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Prepare outbound orders and related paperwork (BOLS, manifests, yard documents).
• Communicate with carriers and supervisors; collaborate with service delivery and Trade teams.
• Enter data into the warehouse management system and file documents.
• Occasionally work on the warehouse floor with equipment operators.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely if certified.

Job Description

Arvato is currently seeking an Outbound Shipping Clerk who possesses a keen eye for detail, excels in communication, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. As part of our team, you'll not only contribute to the efficiency of our operations but also have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge warehouse equipment and collaborate with various teams across the organization.

YOUR TASKS

• In this role, you will help prepare outbound orders and the necessary paperwork associated with each, i.e. BOLS, delivery manifests, and yard management documents.
• You will communicate with different delivery carriers, work directly with the supervisor and lead in this department and will also communicate with our service delivery and Trade teams.
• This role will require data entry into a warehouse management system and filing documents and forms.
• You will occasionally have to be out on the warehouse floor and will work with our warehouse equipment operators.
• You may be required to operate warehouse equipment safely (only when certified by Arvato).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of SAP or other WMS experience.
• Previous experience in operations of Warehousing and Shipping, and use of equipment such as forklifts, order pickers, and pallet runners.
• Previous experience working with transportation, freight carriers, dispatching, or transportation coordination is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English.
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook.
