Job summary

AdvanSix in Richmond, VA is seeking a Maintenance Planner to plan and schedule maintenance activities across a fast-paced industrial facility. The role requires coordinating outages, preparing work orders, and managing procurement for mechanical and electrical/instrumentation work.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organizational and leadership skills, with experience in SAP-PM, Primavera, and MS Office.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 5+ years in an industrial manufacturing environment, or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience in maintenance planning and outages.
• Strong communication, organizational and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule maintenance activities for assigned area.
• Estimate and initiate work orders for mechanical and electrical/instrumentation work.
• Procure equipment, materials and outside services with focus on fixed-price packages.
• Manage repairs, purchases, invoices and receipts for outage work.
• Develop and update job plans for repairs and equipment.
• Audit and retain shop papers and job history forms.
