Job summary

Caltrol, Inc. is seeking an Outage Manager to coordinate valve service projects from initial engagement through final invoicing. You will manage field and shop resources, prepare quotations, and ensure safe, profitable execution for outages and day-to-day service needs.

The role requires 3+ years in valve services or related field, strong customer-facing skills, and proficiency with MS Office. You will work on-site in multiple facilities and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 3+ years in control valves, valve repair, industrial services, or technical sales.
• Strong customer service, relationship-building, and communication skills.
• Knowledge of valve repair services and industrial maintenance operations.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet demanding deadlines.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ownership mindset with accountability and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Manage outage and service projects from quote through completion, ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability.
• Prepare and review quotes, coordinate resources, communicate with customers, and support closeout activities.
• Partner with customers, Account Managers, service teams, and manufacturers to deliver outcomes.
• Resolve issues, scope changes, and discoveries through the project lifecycle.
• Support planning via outage tracking, workload forecasting, and resource coordination.
• Participate in scheduling, manpower planning, and workload reviews.
• Evaluate repair-versus-replacement solutions for value.
• Contribute to sales growth and process improvement.
• Maintain understanding of Caltrol's operations, goals, and offerings.
