Job summary

NRG Energy is seeking a Scheduler/Planner (Outage) for Osceola, AR to lead maintenance planning and outage scheduling at the power plant. The role requires strong knowledge of PM development, resource estimation, and coordinating with Operations and Engineering to align with plant priorities.

Ideal candidates will have 5+ years in maintenance planning, hands-on CMMS experience (Maximo), and proficiency with MS Project to deliver accurate schedules, cost estimates, and progress reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 5 years’ experience in maintenance planning and scheduling.
• 3 years with Maximo or other CMMS program.

Responsibilities

• Develop and draft maintenance plans (PMs) for the plant.
• Schedule outages and weekly maintenance; set priorities.
• Estimate resources using MS Project, Excel, Maximo.
• Lead schedule reviews with stakeholders and manage critical path.
• Provide daily schedule updates and reports.
