FirstEnergy Corp is seeking an Outage Management Specialist within the ADMS Reporting & Analytics group to support distribution reliability reporting, dashboards, and OMS tooling. • Associates degree in an engineering or IT related discipline.

Position Summary

The Outage Management Specialist within the Advanced Distribution Management Systems (ADMS) Reporting & Analytics group is responsible for supporting distribution reliability reporting, analytics, the Outage Management System (OMS) dashboard, and various outage management tools. This role is intended to provide foundational support for emerging analytics tools and pilot programs, helping to stabilize and operationalize these capabilities as they scale. This position is critical to enabling successful deployment and long-term sustainability of our analytics initiatives. The position partners cross-functionally with Distribution Operations, Engineering, Regulatory, Capital Portfolio, and IT teams to support distribution analytics platforms. Additionally, the role contributes to continuous improvement initiatives by integrating new data sources, enhancing analytical capabilities, and supporting evolving grid modernization and analytics platform efforts.
