Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines in North Ridgeville, OH is seeking Line Haul Extraboard Drivers to move freight between Estes service centers. You will operate tractor-trailers, observe FMCSA rules, and maintain safety inspections while enjoying competitive pay and benefits.

The role requires a valid Class A CDL, HazMat/Tanker endorsements, and the ability to meet English language requirements. Candidates must pass medical exams and road tests and be able to lift up to 70 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• 21 years of age and 1 year driving experience.
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL).
• FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse registration.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center/work assignment.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements (LCV may apply).
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test.
• Must be able to speak/read English per FMCSA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with FMCSA and safety regulations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain records.
• Adhere to safety rules, vehicle and cargo security procedures.
• Utilize in-cab technology and electronic logs as required.
• Provide professional, courteous service to customers and the public.
• Maintain regular attendance and follow company policies.
