Job summary

Estes-Express-Lines seeks Line Haul Extraboard Drivers to move freight between Estes Service Centers across the network. Roles emphasize safety, compliance with FMCSA rules, and professional customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent background.
• 21 years of age or older; 1 year driving experience required.
• Must possess a valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License.
• Must reside within 75 miles of the domiciled Service Center/work assignment.
• HazMat, Tanker and Doubles endorsements required; LCV may apply.
• Must pass FMCSA medical exam and road test; authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Operate tractor/trailer to transport freight in compliance with FMCSA, safety and company policies.
• Maintain records as required by local, state and federal regulations.
• Use in-cab technology and electronic logs as required; ensure safety and compliance during trips.
• Provide professional service to customers and adhere to safety and security guidelines.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance issues promptly.
