Pomp's Tire Service in Missouri is seeking an OTR Tire Service Technician to repair, inspect, and maintain heavy-duty tires in an outdoor setting. The role emphasizes safe operation, on-site service, and customer locations.

Ideal candidates have a CDL A or B, a high school diploma, and willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours. Prior experience with OTR or heavy-duty tires is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate service vehicles to rack and hoist vehicles for inspection.
• Perform on-site tire installations and repairs on OTR and/or large equipment at customer locations.
• Ensure the safe operation of vehicles and compliance with traffic regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly care for tools and equipment.
• Work independently in all weather conditions to provide roadside tire service.
• Participate in ongoing training and adhere to safety procedures and company policies.
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support team operations

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate company service vehicles to rack and hoist vehicles for inspection
• Perform on-site tire installations and repairs to OTR (over the road) and/or large equipment vehicles at customer locations
• Ensure the safe operation of company vehicles while adhering to all speed and traffic regulations
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and properly care for tools and equipment
• Work independently in all weather conditions to provide reliable roadside tire service
• Participate in ongoing training and adhere to safety procedures, job duties, and company policies
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support team operations

What You Need:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A or B required) and ability to pass pre-employment driver's file
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours with minimal supervision
• Previous experience working with OTR, heavy-duty, or commercial tires
• Capability to safely change and repair commercial tires in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 75 pounds regularly, and up to 250 pounds occasionally with or without mechanical assistance
