Job summary

Pomp's Tire Service in Rochester, MN is seeking an OTR Tire Service Technician to perform inspection, repair, and maintenance of heavy-duty tires in an outdoor setting. CDL A or B is required, with the ability to pass pre-employment driving checks.

You may work nights, overtime, and non-standard hours as needed. Responsibilities include on-site tire installations for OTR and large equipment at customer locations, vehicle safety compliance, and independent work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company service vehicles to access sites for tire service.

• Maintain clean, organized workspace and proper tool care.
• Work independently in various weather conditions for roadside tire service.
• Participate in ongoing training and follow safety procedures.

What You'll Do:

• Safely operate company service vehicles to rack and hoist vehicles for inspection
• Perform on-site tire installations and repairs to OTR (over the road) and/or large equipment vehicles at customer locations
• Ensure the safe operation of company vehicles while adhering to all speed and traffic regulations
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and properly care for tools and equipment
• Work independently in all weather conditions to provide reliable roadside tire service
• Participate in ongoing training and adhere to safety procedures, job duties, and company policies
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support team operations

What You Need:

• Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL A or B required) and ability to pass pre-employment driver's file
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours with minimal supervision
• Previous experience working with OTR, heavy-duty, or commercial tires
• Capability to safely change and repair commercial tires in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 75 pounds regularly, and up to 250 pounds occasionally with or without mechanical assistance
