Job summary

Pomp is seeking an OTR Tire Service Technician in Minneapolis to perform tire repairs, inspections, and maintenance on heavy-duty tires in a roadside setting.

Role requires CDL A or B, high school diploma, and willingness to work nights, overtime, and in all weather. On-site tire installations and repairs at customer locations are core duties.

Qualifications

• CDL A or B required and valid.
• Experience with OTR/heavy-duty tires preferred.
• Ability to lift 75 lbs regularly; 250 lbs occasionally.
• Willingness to work nights, overtime, and non-standard hours.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company service vehicles to rack and hoist vehicles for inspection.
• Perform on-site tire installations and repairs to OTR and large equipment vehicles at customer locations.
• Ensure safe operation of vehicles, adhering to speed and traffic regulations.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and properly care for tools/equipment.
• Work independently in all weather conditions to provide roadside tire service.
• Participate in ongoing training and follow safety procedures and company policies.

What You’ll Do:

• Safely operate company service vehicles to rack and hoist vehicles for inspection
• Perform on-site tire installations and repairs to OTR (over the road) and/or large equipment vehicles at customer locations
• Ensure the safe operation of company vehicles while adhering to all speed and traffic regulations
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and properly care for tools and equipment
• Work independently in all weather conditions to provide reliable roadside tire service
• Participate in ongoing training and adhere to safety procedures, job duties, and company policies
• Complete additional tasks as assigned to support team operations

What You Need:

• Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL A or B required) and ability to pass pre-employment driver’s file
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours with minimal supervision
• Previous experience working with OTR, heavy-duty, or commercial tires
• Capability to safely change and repair commercial tires in all weather conditions
• Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 75 pounds regularly, and up to 250 pounds occasionally with or without mechanical assistance
