Job Description

This OTR driver position is responsible for transporting Tyson Foods' products in a safe, professional, and timely manner to our facilities, distribution centers, and customers. Additional Details

This student driver position delivers Tyson products to customers with a certified driver trainer. The driver student will gain hands-on experience to become a solo driver with Tyson Foods. The position requires working days and nights.

Responsibilities

1. Driving and operating a tractor-trailer while monitoring the temperature of a refrigerated trailer.
2. Ensuring all shipping documentation is available for inspection and accompanies shipments upon delivery.
3. Maintaining records for compliance with regulations, including driver's logs, fuel records, and mileage.
4. Performing duties in accordance with company policies and regulatory requirements, representing the company professionally.

Job Requirements

• Must pass DOT urine and hair follicle tests.
• Valid Class A CDL in the state of residence.
• Age 21 or older.
• Recent CDL school graduate, military CDL graduate, or have less than nine months of recent verifiable OTR experience.
• Pass a D.O.T. physical, drug screening, and road test.
• Must live in the defined hiring area and be willing to park at designated areas.
• Points on Tyson Driver Evaluation System must be 12 or less.
• No DUI/DWI convictions in a commercial vehicle or personal vehicle within specified timeframes.
• Must meet Tyson's minimum PSP report qualifications.

Pay

$600.00 per week
